Water Treatment Facility and Hydro Power Plant needed for Central Vietnam.
The Can Tho Water Supply and Sewerage Company was founded in 1931 and is responsible for the water supply and sewerage disposal in the city of Can Tho. Can Tho is located approximately 170 kilometres south west of Ho Chi Minh City and is the economic centre of the Mekong Delta, which is a rapidly growing area. At present the population is roughly 50% rural and 50% urban. Apseed is in discussions to provide funding and technology to provide a major piece of infrastructure concerning water treatment to supply clean water for five provinces in Central Vietnam on eof them being Can Tho.
Current technology is being reviewed and discussions have commenced with potential funders of this project. Apseed and its partners has been invited with the authority to work closely with the Vietnamese Government to facilitate and implement major project to provide clean water to millions of people.
